Small Classes
Our distinctly small class sizes allow the opportunity for more personalized instruction than in standard classroom settings. All teachers (K5-5th) have a Masters or Undergraduate Degree in Education and are available after school to talk with parents and work with students so that they can reach their full potential.
Curriculum Highlights
Word of Life is proud to teach our students using the Abeka curriculum. Abeka is a Christian worldview-based curriculum that integrates Bible teachings and Christ’s love in all subjects.
- Songs, Bible verses, and daily prayers will instill in your child a lifetime curiosity about God and His Word.
- Through establishing a phonics-based foundation, your child will learn how spelling, vocabulary, penmanship, reading, grammar, and composition all work together.
- In science, history, and geography, our students learn about God’s world and begin to appreciate it more as they venture into a biographical study of the people in it.
- Our math classes exercise your lower elementary child’s mind in reasoning and thinking abilities as our teachers guide them through topics such as adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication while our upper elementary teachers lead your child from the known to the unknown as your child studies fractions, decimals, proportions, percentages, and many other topics.
- Strategically designed enriching activities, such as art and music, develop each student’s talents and abilities. Basketball, musical instrument lessons, and dance are also offered.
