2024 Military Child Outreach
Our students came together to support and uplift children of deployed service members by assembling thoughtful care packages filled with fun toys, comfort items, and handwritten messages of encouragement. Through this heartfelt outreach, our students showed compassion, gratitude, and the joy of giving back to those who sacrifice so much.
Operation Christmas Child
WOLCA is proud to partner with the Samaritan's Purse in their annual fundraiser, Operation Christmas Child, which collects shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way.
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, during National Collection Week, WOLCA students in K5-12th grade helped pack donated items in OCC shoeboxes. Shoeboxes are collected in countries all around the world, including Australia, Canada, Germany, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States. The boxes are then prepared for overseas shipment at eight major processing centers across the U.S. in preparation to be shipped to impoverished children all over the world.
